Driving to Lake Tahoe
From Reno:
From Reno-Tahoe Intl Airport, take US-395 S towards Carson City. Exit onto US-395 S/S Virginia Street and continue to follow US-395 S. Make a slight right at N Carson St/US-395 BUS S and then a slight right at US HWY-50 W. Continue to follow Highway 50 into South Lake Tahoe. (Total drive time approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes)
From Sacramento
Take Highway 50 East through Placerville and Meyers over Echo Summit. Continue 4.9 miles on combined road CA-89N/US-50E. Once you arrive at the intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 50 you will make a right onto Hwy 50 and follow this into South Lake Tahoe. (Total drive time approximately 2 hours)
From San Francisco
First take I-80 East into Sacramento. From there, take Highway 50 East through Placerville and Meyers over Echo Summit. Continue 4.9 miles on combined road CA-89N/US-50E.
