Temple Bar Marina
Temple Bar Resort has long been renowned as a headquarters for fishing and water
-skiing. It is the "hideaway" marina and the place to go to "get away from it all." Services and amenities are bare bone. You'll find lakeside lodging and a
restaurant/lounge, as well as a marina with rental ski boats, fishing boats, patio boats and personal watercraft. There is a fuel dock. The fish are plentiful. And
Temple Bar is a skier's dream, with unobstructed runs of 20 miles in either direction.
You will need to bring all supplies with you as the marina store is extremely limited. There are no telephones in the lodge rooms but there are pay phones. We found cell
phone service to be extremely limited and working best in the parking area above the launch ramp. We were successful with cell phone service through Alltel, Cingular
and Qwest.
Reservations for Temple Bar fill up extremely early, make reservations in advance.
