46' Expedition Houseboat Rental on Lake Powell

46_Expedition_Cabin2The 46' Expedition houseboat is one of the most popular because it is economical with the ability to sleep up to 6 people, with a capacity for 12.  For the 2017 season, it is available at Bullfrog and Wahweap Marinas.

The 46' Expedition can be difficult to secure and if this is the houseboat you want for your vacation, we recommend you reserve well in advance of your departure date.

There is one private stateroom with a queen bed, one sofa sleeper which pulls out into a double bed, a dinette that converts to a double bed and one bathroom. This boat features a water slide, depth finder/fish finder, and upper deck sun shade.

The 46' Expedition is easy to maneuver and uses less fuel than the luxury houseboats and is more like "camping" on the water. An 8 KW generator means you get 15,000 BTU air conditioning.  You even get a 20" TV, DVD player and stereo system. The 46' Expedition houseboat is available at Wahweap and Bullfrog.

Pets are allowed on this houseboat for $10 per day per pet (can be added at any time during the reservation process). If you are traveling in Wahweap Marina, linens are provided. If you are traveling in Bullfrog Marina, linens are provided upon request.

All Lake Powell houseboats are fully stocked with all eating utensils provided for the maximum capacity allowed on the boats, e.g. if you have a 46' Expedition, the capacity is twelve, therefore, you would be provided with all necessary eating utensils required for twelve people.

Cooking utensils include bowls, pots, pans, cheese grater, cutting board, cutlery, pitcher, coffee pot (stove top), hot pads, ice pick, and wine opener.

Also included on each houseboat is a broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, flyswatter, garbage cans, garbage bags, toilet paper, toilet bowl brush and bucket, shampoo, soap, dish washing liquid, dish drainer and mat, dish rags and pot scrubbers. Outdoor equipment and supplies include two anchors and lines, deck chairs, captain's chair, ash trays, 150 quart ice chest, personal flotation devices (life vests), and gas grill.

46_Expedition_SlideAll houseboats have a stove and range, a refrigerator, a shower, a toilet, window coverings, heater, dining room table, interior and exterior lights, as well as stairs to the roof of the houseboat which is fully accessible by you.

Fresh drinking water is provided on each boat and may be refilled at any marina. You may also have your holding tanks pumped out. Although the need for a pump out varies based on the number of passengers and water usage, a good rule of thumb is to return to a pump out station every three or four days.

All houseboats departing from Wahweap and/or Bullfrog Marina board at 10:00 am (MST) on the day of rental and must be returned at 3:30 pm (MST) fueled up and unloaded on the final day of the reservation- e.g. a 2-day rental that begins on a Monday would be due back by 3:30 PM (MST) on Tuesday.
