The 53' Adventurer (and 54' Adventurer XL) offers the finest in amenities at the greatest value.
The 54' Adventurer XL features personal watercraft ramp (removed in 2006), the 53' Adventurer is the same boat without the ramps and steps to access the boat deck
. The 53' Adventurer is available Wahweap and Bullfrog Marinas.
Sleeps 12 in 6 beds, with a maximum capacity of 12. There are 2 cabins with double beds, one with 2 double
beds, a sleeper sofa and the diningroom table is a gaucho which converts into another double bed. The are two bathrooms (no tubs).
The Adventurer is similar to the larger Admiral with a few exceptions. There are dual
refrigerators on the Adventurer which operate on propane or electric. There is no flybridge for operating the boat from the top deck. There is no fuel tank for filling
personal watercraft.
Linens and bedding are not provided with this houseboat. You will have an
evaporative cooler, CD stereo and marine band radio.
A ll Lake Powell houseboats are fully stocked with all eating utensils provided for the maximum capacity
allowed on the boats, e.g. if you have a Adventurer, the capacity is twelve, therefore, you would be provided with all necessary eating utensils required for twelve people.
Cooking utensils include bowls, pots, pans, cheese grater, cutting board, cutlery,
pitcher, coffee pot (stove top), hot pads, ice pick, and wine opener.
Also included on each houseboat is a broom, dustpan, mop,
bucket, flyswatter, garbage cans, garbage bags, toilet paper, toilet bowl brush and bucket, shampoo, soap, dishwashing liquid, dish drainer and mat, dish rags and pot scrubbers.
Outdoor equipment and supplies include two anchors and lines
, deck chairs, captain's chair, ash trays, 150 quart ice chest, personal floatation devices (life vests), and gas grill.
All houseboats have a stove and range, a refrigerator, a shower, a toilet, window
coverings, heater, dining room table, interior and exterior lights, as well as stairs to the roof of the houseboat which is fully accessible by you.
Fresh drinking water is provided on each boat and may be refilled at any marina. You may
also have your holding tanks pumped out. Although the need for a pump out varies based on the number of passe ngers and water usage, a good rule of thumb is to return to a pump
out station every three or four days.
The Adventurer has twin 60 hp motors. These get 1 mpg or 12
gallons per hour. However, this is dependent on weather conditions, cargo weight and the rpm at which you run the engines.
Standard amenities: Propane range with oven and heaters. Two electric refrigerators (8 cubic foot each), toaster, microwave, electric
can opener, coffee maker, blender, gas grill, all weather cabin, bunk beds, 2 full bath with 2 showers, 12-volt light system. Swim slide and
platform, top deck canopy, evaporative cooling, boarding ramp, upgraded cabin with carpet, generator with
110/120 AC, marine radio, regular radio/CD player. This is the only houseboat which has 2 jet ski ramps on the back for your personal watercraft.
