This is a great adventure for those who love to see nature up close and personal, and love interacting with it in a physical way. You'll have complete unrestricted views of the forest and wooded terrain surrounding the Grand Canyon. This definitely is not a "shuttle bus" tour!  You'll be out in nature enjoying the landscape.

If you're looking for something more than just sightseeing at the Grand Canyon South Rim, this is THE "must do" tour!

Grand Canyon ATV Adventures provides vehicles that are well-maintained, safe and easy to operate.  From the novice to the experienced driver, all will enjoy this informative tour.  No experience is necessary. You can take this tour even if you have never ridden an ATV.  A safety briefing and orientation will be given to all riders. No driver's license is required, however, guests must speak English well enough to understand operating instructions. All ATV's have automatic transmissions to eliminate the distraction of shifting gears while enjoying the tour. Storage compartments on the ATV's for your personal belongings are standard.

Tours operate April through November.  Last minute reservations can usually be accommodated.  Groups are kept small, however, so it is recommended that you reserve your space well in advance.

Your helmet is equipped with stereo headphones .  Your knowledgeable guide will take you deep into the forest where you will visit historic sites and if you're lucky, you will experience an abundance of wildlife, which may include elk, deer, mountain lion, bobcat and javelina.

You're invited to bring your camera (but lens covers and protective padded bags are recommended).

A 10-minute break will give your group a chance for a photograph, or you can purchase an action shot 8x10 after your tour.

A courtesy van will pick you up at Tusayan hotels, Grand Canyon airport or meet you at the IMAX theatre. Those staying inside the Grand Canyon Park should meet at Imax.

Children ages 5 to 15 are welcome on the tour, but must ride with a parent, guardian or tour guide. Safety and comfort are a priority with Grand Canyon ATV Adventures, so there is no exception to this rule.

Grand Canyon ATV Advenures introduces its new 2 seat ATV!

The new ArcticCat ATV's comfortably accommodate two adult riders while maintaining the "open air" experience. Available on all of the adventures, it is the perfect solution for couples who would like to enjoy the nature of the Grand Canyon together. If you would prefer the two seater, just indicate that in the comment box of the reservation form.
